Ingredients
1 Pack (9 oz.) Nuovo Pasta Classic Italian Beef Ravioli
4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
2 Small shallots, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
6 ea. Fresh sage leaves, stacked and sliced thin
1 Tsp Fresh thyme, chopped
2 Tsp Fresh parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
Optional: Top each plate with a bouquet of fresh herbs.
Directions
- Cook ravioli in salted boiling water according to package directions.
- While the ravioli are cooking, place butter and shallots in a small saucepan over medium-low heat and cook until shallots are golden.
- Add sage and thyme and cook until crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Drain ravioli and place on a serving platter.
- Spoon sauce on top and sprinkle with chopped parsley and Parmigiano as a finishing touch.
