Ingredients
1 Pack (9 oz.) Nuovo Pasta Fresh Mozzarella & Tomato Caprese Ravioliย
2 Tbsp Olive oil
2 Cloves garlic, chopped fine
1 Pint ripe cherry tomatoes, halved
Salt and pepper to taste
12 ea. Fresh basil leaves, stacked and sliced thin
2 Tbsp Pecorino Romano, grated
Reserve a few basil sprigs to garnish each serving plate.
Directions
- Place oil and garlic in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for a few minutes or until soft and golden.
- Add sliced tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes, just enough to evaporate excess moisture.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and add basil.
- Cook pasta separately in salted boiling water according to package directions.
- Drain pasta and place on a serving platter.
- Spoon sauce on top and sprinkle with cheese.ย
