Ingredients

  • 1 Pack (9 oz.) Nuovo Pasta Fresh Mozzarella & Tomato Caprese Ravioli
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted butter
  • ½ Cup Green peas, fresh or frozen (not canned)
  • ¾ Cup Heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 ea. Fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
  • Extra basil sprigs for garnish

Directions

  1. Wash and chop basil.
  2. Place butter in a small saucepan and warm over medium-low heat until melted. Add peas and cream and bring to a simmer; do not let boil. Cook for a few minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally until peas are tender. Season with salt, pepper, and chopped basil; keep warm.
  3. Cook ravioli separately in salted boiling water according to package directions. Pour half of the sauce onto a serving platter, drain the ravioli, and arrange on top. Spoon the rest of the sauce over the ravioli, sprinkle grated cheese on top, and garnish with basil sprigs. Enjoy!
