Organic Butternut Squash Ravioli Brown Butter, Sage, and Pepitas

For Nuovo Pasta, everything starts with what ingredients we choose to incorporate in our classically Italian products. We know how important it is to feed both yourself and your family with only the best food, so we make sure to carefully select only organic butternut squash in our Organic Butternut Squash Ravioli. The filling, made with organic butternut squash & ricotta mousse, is simple yet incredibly flavorful– which is why we chose to pair it with Brown Butter, Sage, and Pumpkin Seeds so as to let our carefully crafted ingredients shine on their own!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack (9 oz.) Nuovo Organic Butternut Squash Ravioli
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 6 ea. Fresh sage leaves, stacked and sliced thin
  • 2 tbsp Pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 2 tbsp Parmigiano Reggiano, grated

Directions

  1. Cook ravioli separately in lightly salted boiling water according to package directions.
  2. While ravioli are cooking, place butter in a small skillet over medium-low heat and cook
    until butter starts to foam.
  3. Add sage and pepitas and cook until sage is crisp.
  4. Drain ravioli and place on a serving platter. Spoon sauce on top and sprinkle with Parmigiano Reggiano as a finishing touch. Enjoy!
